Head coach Mike McCarthy announced that Chauncey Golston (Defensive End for the Dallas Cowboys) will undergo ankle surgery on Thursday. He was a rookie in 2021.
Golston, a third round pick from Iowa, played in 15 games this season for the Cowboys, playing on defense and special team. He had 32 tackles, one touchdown, and one fumble recovery.
Golston also scored his debut touchdown in his career on a blocked punt return during a 56-14 victory over Washington on December 26.
