It is cutdown day in the NFL. All 32 teams are required to release their 53-man rosters before 4 p.m. ET.
The Dallas Cowboys, like the rest of the league are very busy today. Their latest transaction was to designate running back Aaron Shampklin as injured and cornerback Isaac Taylor Stuart waived.
Both players sustained ankle injuries in this summer’s tournament.

Shampklin was a Harvard first-team All-Ivy League selection in 2021. He rushed for 2,251 yards for the Crimson and 23 touchdowns during his career.
Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott are the Cowboys’ two top running backs going into the season.
Malik Davis and Rico Dowdle have been fighting for the RB3 spot.
