This week, the Dallas Cowboys’ receiving team will be a little short on OTAs. This is because James Washington was seen in a walking boot.
The details of Washington’s injury remain unknown at this time. However, in an interview with Cowboys Country he stated that the walking boot was a precautionary measure.
“I really just went home one night after working out and it didn’t feel quite right,” Washington said. “It’s nothing serious – more precautionary. I’m sure I’ll be back next week.”
In March , the Cowboys signed Washington a one-year contract. He hopes to revive his career in Texas.

The Steelers selected Washington in the second round, 2018 NFL Draft. The Oklahoma State graduate had 114 receptions for 1,629 yards and 11 touchdowns during his four-year tenure with the Steelers.
Washington, if healthy, will be the No. 3 wide receiver on Cowboys’ depth charts.
Washington, with Amari Cooper now off the roster, must be an option along CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup.
