According to reports, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup will undergo surgery to repair his left ACL one month after tearing it.
According to David Moore , Dallas Morning News, Gallup will undergo surgery next week. Gallup sustained the injury during a loss against the Arizona Cardinals on Jan 2.
Gallup, who played in four NFL seasons, should have his gear ready for the start 2022 campaign. It is unknown where he will play that season.
Gallup will be free to enter agency in March. The Cowboys may choose to return the 2018 third-round selection, but that decision could be affected by what they do with Amari Cooper (wide receiver) and Dalton Schultz (tight end).

Cooper will make $20 million in 2022. However, he was criticized by Jerry Jones after missing two games because he contracted COVID-19 and was unvaccinated. Jones also criticized Cooper for his inability to play in traffic.
Schultz will be an unrestricted, free agent like Gallup.
Gallup has accumulated 193 career receptions, 2,902 yards, and 15 touchdowns in 55 games.
