Some of the NFL’s most prominent stars have started skipping the Pro Bowl. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is no exception.
Prescott has apparently made a decision about whether or not to play in the Pro Bowl this weekend.
According to ESPN’s Todd Archer the Cowboys quarterback has decided not to play in the Pro Bowl. Instead, he wants more rest after the last few years of his NFL career were filled with rehab and injuries.
“With Kirk Cousins and Russell Wilson added to NFC Pro Bowl roster today, I’m told Dak Prescott passed on playing to give himself some rest after a long year of rehab from the ankle, calf and other ailments that cropped up during the season,” Archer said on Twitter.

Cowboys fans who hoped to see Dak Prescott in action will be disappointed. This also raises questions about how healthy Dak was in the 2021-22 season. He sounds like he needs more rest than he wants.
The Cowboys’ season was ended by disappointment when they were defeated by the San Francisco 49ers in round NFC Wild Card.
Prescott had to deal with a calf problem during the final stretch of the season, which probably will still impact him in the playoffs.
This Sunday, February 6, is the Pro Bowl
