Dak Prescott, Cowboys quarterback, knows that the offense isn’t where it should be.
Prescott will be largely responsible for the failure of the unit against Washington on Sunday.
He was able to pass for 211 yards and one touchdown and two interceptions. The second interception was an ill-advised pick-six while Dallas was up 13 with four minutes left.
Prescott was fortunate that the defense was able make a play after the turnover. Randy Gregory had a strip-sack of Kyle Allen. After the two-minute warning, Dallas was able to finish the clock.
Prescott spoke with the media after the match and said that the offense was unhappy with their current position after 13 games.
Prescott stated, “We have set high standards and expectations for ourselves.” We aren’t as pleased as the outside world. I can assure you that we care more about what we do than the outside world.
