On Wednesday, the Dallas Cowboys made slight changes to their quarterback depth charts. Will Grier was placed on reserved list.
Grier was a third-round selection of the Carolina Panthers in 2019. He signed with the Cowboys in September, after being released by the team that drafted. He did not play in any game for Dallas.
Ben DiNucci is now the No.1 quarterback with Grier gone. The Cowboys’ No. 3 quarterback is Ben DiNucci, who follows Cooper Rush and Dak Prescott. DiNucci made one start in 2020 and appeared in three of the Cowboys’ games.
We have to be honest. No matter who the Cowboys third-string quarterback is, it is a hard for the Cowboys if they allow that person into a game.
Dallas could be in serious trouble if Cooper Rush is forced to play, despite him performing well and leading the team to victory over Minnesota in his only start this fall.
The fate of the Cowboys offense rests on the right arm and rushing attack of Ezekiel Elliot and Tony Pollard. We will see what they have against the San Francisco 49ers Sunday.
