Dallas Cowboys lost 42-10 to San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.
Dallas’ much-lauded defense conceded 421 total yards and six touchdowns. Brock Purdy threw four touchdown passes. This was a disappointing performance for a Super Bowl-caliber team.
Dan Quinn , the defensive coordinator for the team, told the team website on Monday that there’s no need to dwell on the loss.
“I’m bummed,” Quinn said. “You get your *** kicked, you only have a couple choices in the fight. You can pout about it or get back up and get rocking again. And I certainly know that’s what we’re gonna do.”

This week, the Cowboys will face another difficult test in the Los Angeles Chargers with their star quarterback Justin Herbert. Former Dallas offensive coordinator Kellen Moor also leads the Chargers offense.
Qunn stated, “We have a very strong Chargers team coming up and there are plenty of things we can do to make the stadium rock again.” “So, yeah, we’re bummed. “We wanted our guys to give a great performance, but that didn’t happen.”
The Cowboys will face the Chargers on Monday at 8:15 pm ET. ET on ESPN/ABC.
