Shortly after the two head coaching vacancies were filled, it was announced that Dan Quinn would be returning to the Dallas Cowboys in the 2022 season.
Quinn was a popular choice for the coaching job because of his success as Cowboys’ defensive coordinator. Many fans were surprised to hear that Quinn would be returning to Dallas for another season.
Benjamin Allbright, an NFL insider, gave an update about Quinn’s decision moments ago.
Allbright claimed Quinn wanted to be the Denver Broncos’ Head Coach. The job was eventually offered to Nathaniel Hackett, Green Bay Packers’ offensive coordinator.

Quinn was connected to the Broncos job opening right from the start. In fact, Jason La Canfora , a CBS Sports insider, said Quinn is highly respected in Denver.
Three weeks ago, La Canfora reported that the Denver Broncos were expected to let Vic Fangio go and start a coaching search.
Quinn didn’t have the offseason he hoped, but he could still be a head coach. He just needs another year to prove that he is one of the best defensive minds in the league.
