Three weeks into the regular season, it appears that Cooper Rush, Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback has a new nickname.
Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys running back, tweeted Tuesday afternoon: “Cooper Clutch.
This Elliott tweet is sure to go viral, particularly since the Cowboys beat the New York Giants Monday night.
Rush was another efficient Cowboys player, completing 21 of 31 passes for 215 yards with a touchdown. Elliott saved his best moments for fourth quarter. This is why Elliott refers to Rush as “Cooper Clutch”.

Since 2021, Rush has been the Cowboys’ starting quarterback for three consecutive seasons. He has shown that he is capable of taking over when Dak Prescott gets hurt.
Rush, Jason Garrett, and Roger Staubach are the Cowboys’ only three-time winning quarterbacks.
The Cowboys will next face the Washington Commanders. Rush will have the chance to lead “America’s Team”, to back-to-back victories over a division rival.
Rush can continue to be successful, and the Cowboys will allow Prescott more time to heal his thumb injury.
