Cowboys receiver Amari Cooper, who was on Friday placed him on the COVID List, which puts his status against Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs in danger.
Now it has been confirmed Cooper has tested positive for the virus. Cooper is not currently vaccinated and will miss the next two games.
A 10-day quarantine is being implemented by the NFL to prevent unvaccinated NFL players from playing in Sunday’s game. This will also affect his opponent, the Las Vegas Raiders, next Thursday.
Amari Cooper has been placed on the reserve/COVID 19 list and will miss the Cowboys next two games.

Cooper was one of the Cowboys’ best players this season, and this is a huge loss. Cooper has 583 yards, five touchdowns, and 44 receptions. He can also beat defensive backs on any route.
Cooper will not be there, so Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb will have to fill in.
Lamb has 726 yards, six touchdowns and 47 catches. Lamb has also crossed the 100-yard mark in three games, and has attained at least 80 yards in six of his games.
Gallup was out of commission for the majority of this season, but he returned last Sunday to play and had three receptions for 42 yard against the Falcons. If Dallas wants to win the next two games without Cooper, Gallup will need to surpass those numbers.
