This basically confirms the previous statements about Mike McCarthy and the Cowboys. We can’t pretend that his seat isn’t comfortable.
It was unacceptable to lose in the playoffs to the San Francisco 49ers earlier in this year. Jones is certain Jones wants the Cowboys’ to rebound with a strong start for the 2022 season.
The season opens in Dallas with games against the Bengals and Buccaneers. McCarthy would be devastated by a 0-2 start.
