The Dallas Cowboys were outclassed by the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday’s 19-9 defeat. They have now lost two of their last three games.
It doesn’t seem that owner Jerry Jones panics. Jones was on 105.3 The Fan today, and he was focused on the long-term.
He said that he believes the team will be more successful when they reach the playoffs. Source: Jon Machota, The Athletic
Jerry Jones on @1053thefan is not discouraged by the Cowboys' loss in Kansas City. "You got a long journey ahead of you. It's evolving. I look at it as we're building to a crescendo … I think we'll be better by the time we get to the playoffs."

This is the best approach for the Cowboys. Dallas is currently 7-3, and they are three games ahead in the NFC East loss column; unless there is a major collapse, they should win this division.
The Cowboys should keep this in mind and make sure that they are in good health and running smoothly in January. They have a chance to win on Thanksgiving against the Las Vegas Raiders team, which is in a rut and has lost three consecutive games.
Even if they lose, there won’t be any panic. However, Big D will feel more urgent moving forward.
Kickoff for Raiders – Cowboys will take place at 4:30 p.m. ET Thursday on CBS
