Amari Cooper, a Dallas Cowboys player who was a key part of the Dallas Cowboys’ offseason loss, is gone. Jerry Jones however doesn’t seem too concerned about the team’s receiving corps.
Jones actually told Clarence Hill Jr. from the Star Telegram that CeeDee Lamb would be an upgrade to Cooper as the No. 1 wide receiver for the Cowboys.
Jones did not say these words to underestimate Cooper. Jones simply believes Lamb will make a better receiver in “production,” in the huddle, and on the field.

Lamb made it clear on Wednesday that he is ready to lead the Cowboys’ passing attack.
“Oh, I’ve been ready. Been ready,” Lamb said. “That’s just me and my competitiveness. That’s in my nature. I’m always ready for my name to be called.”
Lamb had 79 receptions for 1,102 yards and six touchdowns last season. Cooper’s 68 receptions were 865 yards long and scored eight touchdowns.
Lamb will have his number called many times this fall. He will have to show that he is a better player than Cooper in the No. Cowboys’ wide receiver.
