Dallas Cowboys rookie Micah Parsons was restricted in practice today ahead of a crucial NFC East matchup with the Washington Football Team.
Parsons, who is one of the most respected defensive players in the NFL, and even the rookie class, was injured with a hip problem.
He and Sean McKeon, the backup tight end, were the only Cowboys today who were “limited”.

Cowboys fans have good news: Whatever Parsons is going through doesn’t seem to be serious.
Michael Gehlken from the Dallas Morning News claims that the former Penn State star “just sore.”
Exhale: Cowboys LB Micah Parsons (hip) was added to the injury report today as limited participant, but sources expressed no concern. “He’s just sore,” one said. Another source: “He should be fine.”

Parsons has recorded 72 tackles this season and 10 sacks in 12 games. Parsons quickly rose to be one of the league’s most fearsome pass rushers.
Parsons will be needed to perform at his best in Dallas this Sunday. The Cowboys are currently at 8-4, two games ahead of the Washington Football Team (6-6), in the NFC East standings.
Washington won four consecutive games, but it will close out its schedule with five divisional games. It hopes to reach the playoffs for the second consecutive season.
