On Monday, the Dallas Cowboys reached another milestone.
Front Office Sports claims they were the first NFL team worth $8 billion. This is what happens when you are “America’s Team”.
In the 1980s, Donald Trump almost bought the franchise. However, he backed out of it. He eventually bought a USFL franchise, which was disbanded within two years.
He said that anyone who bought the Cowboys would end up being a loser.
“I feel sorry that the Cowboys are going to be bought by a poor man.” Trump stated that he would be remembered as a loser in the eyes of the entire world.

Donald Trump nearly bought them for $50M in 1983, but purchased a USFL franchise that folded two years later.

Jerry Jones purchased the team for $140million in 1989. He is certainly not a loser. He is one of the most powerful NFL owners in the world.
Trump’s take will be remembered as one that has aged like milk.
