Micah Parson, the Dallas Cowboys’ star linebacker, was feeling a bit under the weather before Monday’s game against New York Giants.
Parsons missed two practice days in the lead up to the game but still played 83% in the 23-16 victory over Big Blue. Although he only had one tackle and two hits to the quarterback, his presence was felt all night.
Parsons said that he doesn’t have any medical issues and that he feels the best since his time at Penn State.
“Physically, this is the best I’ve felt since college. I feel great,” Parsons said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic.

Parsons may be telling the truth about how fresh and young he feels. That’s bad news, especially for his opponents starting this Sunday in Washington.
Parsons has been a constant force in the league since his entry in 2021. Parsons started the season with two sacks against the Bengals and Bucs.
Through three games, he has also recorded five tackles for losses and nine quarterback hits.
