It was announced Thursday that Dan Quinn would be returning to the Dallas Cowboys in the 2022 season. He was interviewed by several teams, but he officially resigned this afternoon.
Quinn had an impressive year in Dallas and transformed the defense into one the best in the league. The Cowboys were ranked 19th in yards allowed and seventh in points allowed for the 2021 regular season.
Micah Parsons’ reaction on the Quinn news shows that he is happy to have the same defensive coordinator next year.
Parsons posted the photo of Quinn and him with the caption: “oooo weeeee.”

Parsons, following the Cowboys’ defeat to the 49ers in Wild Card round of playoffs, made it clear that he wanted Quinn back for another year.
Parsons stated to reporters, “Q, brother. I hope you stay, if you see that, man.” “I hope we get another chance at this. If you leave, I will miss you brother and I wish you all the best.
Parsons was able to fulfill his wish, which was a blessing.
We will see if Quinn can help the Cowboys achieve even greater success on the defensive side in 2022.
