With the Dallas Cowboys as bad as they are, they don’t need refs missing calls.
On Monday Night Football, the refs missed an obvious pass interference call. At halftime, the Cowboys trailed the Arizona Cardinals 21-3. On the first drive of the second half, Andy Dalton was looking to hook up with CeeDee Lamb on a downfield play.
Instead, Dre Kirkpatrick intercepted Dalton, but it appears the play was not made legally.
Simply put, Lamb was essentially tackled by Kirkpatrick and the refs missed the call. On the other end, the Cardinals turned that turnover into seven points.
Even with the snub, Lamb is on pace to set history. According to Jon Machota of The Athletic, Lamb became the first player to have at least five catches in each of his first six career games. Right now, Lamb is on pace to finish 2020 with 96 receptions for 1,325 yards and five touchdowns.
The Cowboys will look to get close to .500 on Sunday against the Washington Football Team.
