Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup passed his physical and was activated from the physically unable list per the league transaction wire.
Gallup’s move means that he will not be absent for at least four games on the reserve/PUP roster — earning him a spot on Cowboys’ initial 53 man roster.

Gallup has been out of action since injuring his ACL during a touchdown catch during Week 17 2021 season. Although he is unlikely to play in the Cowboys’ matchup against Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 1 on September 11, he is expected to be back sometime in the first four weeks.
Jerry Jones, the owner of the team, recently stated that Gallup would be fit enough to play in Week 1, “if it was the Super Bowl,” but that the team is extra cautious about the return of their WR2.
Gallup can now practice with the Cowboys when it’s convenient for him.
