The Dallas Cowboys have their backup quarterback for Dak Prescott heading into the season.
Mike McCarthy, the head coach, said that Cooper Rush would be the quarterback.
Cooper Rush is the No. 2 QB behind Dak Prescott, according to Mike McCarthy.

Rush spent four seasons playing for the Cowboys, and has been in seven games. Rush has thrown for 424 yards and three touchdowns in those four seasons. He also completed 64% of his passes.
Since that would mean Dak Prescott being fully healthy, the Cowboys will hope he doesn’t play too many games this season.
Rush is able to step in when Prescott gets hurt.
Will Grier will become the Cowboys’ third string quarterback. After being cut at 4 p.m., Grier was signed to the practice team. ET roster deadline.
