The Dallas Cowboys’ defensive line may be fully functional this Sunday as they face the Washington Football Team. Minutes ago, Cowboys Head Coach Mike McCarthy gave a positive update on Randy Gregory’s defensive end.
McCarthy informed reporters that Gregory will be back at Cowboys practice this Wednesday. Gregory has been out of practice since Week 9, due to a calf injury.
Gregory isn’t the only Cowboys defensive lineman who could return to the lineup this weekend. Neville Gallimore, defensive tackle, has been on injured reserve for the entirety of the season with an elbow injury. However, he could return to the Cowboys’ lineup this Sunday in 2021.
McCarthy would love Gregory and Gallimore to be available for the pivotal NFC East showdown this weekend.
#Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy says Randy Gregory and Neville Gallimore will return to practice today. They will see how it shakes out and know more about availability Friday. “Would be great if both of those guys could go Sunday”

Stephen Jones, Cowboys executive vice-president, said that Gregory would play on Sunday during a 105.3 The Fan appearance earlier this week.
Jones stated, via the Dallas Morning News, “Well, they have had a great few weeks.” They have to get out there, and they’ll continue with full practices this week. We don’t anticipate any setbacks. They are preparing for the game and they need to keep going. They have to complete the entire preparation for the Washington Football Team game.
Gregory’s return will give the Cowboys’ defensive line a boost this weekend. The Nebraska native has had 12 quarterback hits, 10 tackles total, and five sacks in seven games. He also forced two fumbles.
