Every NFL coach wants to win. But Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy has made that his New Year’s resolution.
When asked about his 2022 resolutions, the franchise leader responded in a straightforward and direct manner.
According to Cowboys insider Todd Archer, McCarthy stated that “I have one clear professional goal: it’s win.” Keep it simple.

This would be simply a continuation of the status quo that Mike McCarthy’s team has been enjoying. To improve their season record of 11-4, the Cowboys have won four consecutive games.
This 2021 regular season record is impressive but it’s what the team did in early 2022 that matters most. The NFC’s No. 2 seed has won a division title. The NFC’s No. 2 seed plans to make a strong postseason run.
McCarthy and the Cowboys will have a chance to achieve this resolution early with a matchup against Arizona Cardinals on January 2.
