Dak Prescott’s injury is the worst thing that could happen to the Dallas Cowboys.
head coach Mike McCarthy is working to put out the fire, despite Dak Prescott’s ankle injury.
McCarthy stated that Dak is doing fine on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas. McCarthy said that the team is being too cautious by not allowing him to practice as much, and that it’s not an issue.
“I just saw him (this morning). He’s doing fine. Just being cautious. Any time something happens close to where he had the injury, you just have to look at it and be smart. It’s not a big deal.”
Dak made it clear that Sunday’s Cowboys season opener against Tampa Bay Buccaneers is his intention.

Mike McCarthy is likely to make 2022 his best year. This has been repeated many times. McCarthy’s record in two years as the team’s head coach is 18-15, with no playoff wins. If McCarthy fails to bring his team to Super Bowl, Jerry Jones will likely have less patience.
Dak Prescott’s job in Dallas is secured for at least the next few years, thanks to the long-term contract that he signed last January.
But as Dak goes, so go the Cowboys. Will Dak Prescott be at 100 percent this weekend?
