Despite some injuries, the Dallas Cowboys have a great start to this season. In addition to the ongoing Dak Preston situation left tackle Tyron Smeck and wide receiver Amari Coop are also limited.
On Sunday night, the Cowboys won a 20-16 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Prescott was unable to play due to a calf injury suffered two weeks prior. Cooper led Dallas with eight receptions, totalling 122 yards and one touchdown. Smith was unable to take part due to a bone spur in the of his ankle .
Mike McCarthy has announced that Smith will not be present for today’s practice. This isn’t a good sign that Smith will be available to play against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
Cooper will also be restricted in practice today. Cooper is currently dealing with a hamstring problem, but as his performance on Sunday would suggest, it seems less problematic than Smith’s injury.

McCarthy acknowledged that Tyron Smith may find it difficult to make it out on Sunday. He had missed only two games last year, but he played the majority of snaps for Dallas through its first six games. The team might need to increase its offensive line depth this weekend against the Broncos.

Prescott’s health is the biggest concern for Cowboys. Prescott appears to be heading in the right direction but the Cowboys have not yet made a decision.
Cowboys-Broncos will be playing at 1 p.m. ET kickoff at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas.
