Shannon Sharpe, a Hall of Fame tight end, isn’t buying the Dak Prescott hype going into the 2022 season.
Stephon Jones, Cowboys vice-president, stated that Prescott is having the best training camp in his entire career. Sharpe believes that Prescott will enjoy a better season this year, at 29 years old.
“Dak is gonna have to be at his all-time best in order for this Cowboys team to be successful,” Sharpe said on Undisputed. “But I expect him to be what he has been in his past six seasons: a roller-coaster.”

Dak started the 2021 season with an MVP-caliber start. His production began to decline as the season progressed. The Cowboys season ended with a disappointing loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card.
Dak will be held accountable for better performance even after the the loss of WR1 Amari cooper and wide receiver injuries in the 2022 campaign. His team hopes to rebound this season.
Dak and the Cowboys kick off their 2022 regular season on September 11 with a Week 1 matchup against Buccaneers.
