Arrowhead Stadium will be a little different tonight as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers in their home opener.
The stadium’s end zones are red in honor of Arrowhead Stadium’s 50th anniversary. This is how it looked in 1972, when the Chiefs first game was at the stadium.
Arrowhead Stadium’s logos and fonts are based on original designs.
The Arrowhead Stadium grounds crew also gave the end zones an antique look. They also changed the logo at the midfield. The original Arrowhead design is now on the logo.
