According to reports, the Dallas Cowboys hope that wide receiver Michael Gallup will be able to return to action in Week 3 against the New York Giants. Gallup injured his ACL in January last season. He has been trying to get back to the No. 1 position. Cowboys offense, 2 receiver.
“Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup (ACL) is trending toward a return next Monday at Giants. ‘We’re going to try to give him a full slate this week’ in practice, coach Mike McCarthy said. Whenever Gallup makes season debut, he is not expected to see his usual workload off the bat,” detailed Dallas Morning News‘ Michael Gehlken.
This news is great for Dallas fans and the ailing Cowboys offense. Gallup will spread the field for CeeDee lamb. In Week 1, the Cowboys offense failed to score a touchdown against Tampa Bay before Dak Preston’s injury. Last week, Cooper Rush led Cowboys to two consecutive touchdown drives to begin the game. This was aided by a tremendous lift from Noah Brown who scored his first touchdown of his career in the victory over Cincinnati.
