The Dallas Cowboys have the most talented coaching staff in the league with Dan Quinn as their defensive coach and Kellen Moore serving as their offensive coordinator. However, other teams may try to take their assistants.
Quinn seems to be a well-known name for this year’s coaching carousel. Quinn has already been approached by the Chicago Bears (Denver Broncos), Miami Dolphins (Miami Dolphins) and Jacksonville Jaguars for interviews.
Although Quinn may leave Dallas in the offseason, Jerry Jones, Cowboys owner, won’t let Quinn go.
Albert Breer, Sports Illustrated says that the Cowboys might be “aggressive” if they want to keep Quinn their defensive coordinator.
“How badly do the Cowboys want to hang on to Dan Quinn? From what I can gather, the Joneses love their first-year defensive coordinator. And with teams sure to want to talk to him about their head coach openings the next few weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if Dallas gets aggressive in trying to find a way to keep Quinn around”
The Cowboys defense finished the regular season in 19th place in yards allowed and seventh in points allowed.
Quinn spoke to the media about the interest he is receiving from coaches vacancies during Monday’s session.
Cowboys DC Dan Quinn on teams being interested in him as a head coach: “There’s just simply nothing to report on from my end. It’s nice to hear if someone is interested. But there’s really nothing to add on my end.” Said he’d just like to talk about preparing for the 49ers today

Quinn stated, “There’s simply nothing to report from my end.” It’s great to know if anyone is interested. There’s nothing I can do to help.
We will soon find out if Quinn is offered a job as a head coach.
