Skip Bayless, like most Dallas Cowboys fans has been broken by too many times over the past quarter-century. He’s had enough, apparently!
Bayless is ready to take control of the 2022 season. Bayless is done with one-and-dones. He won’t take it anymore.
Prior to the Cowboys’ preseason opener, against the Denver Broncos, the popular FS1 host spoke on Twitter about his expectations for the team. Skip threatened his favorite team after he claimed that he was lowering his expectations for 2022.
“IT STARTS AGAIN: Time for the 1st Cowboys preseason game. This season, I’m lowering my expectations – and the Jinx Factor. Whatever happens happens. Life will go on. (BUT THIS TIME THEY’D BETTER AT LEAST WIN ONE HOME PLAYOFF GAME OR THEY’RE GOING TO HEAR ABOUT IT ON TV FROM ME!!)”

The Cowboys went 12-5, cruising to the NFC East title 2021, and then lost their Wild Card contest at the Cowboys’ home to the San Francisco 49ers. Dallas fans spent the entire offseason trying to figure out what happened.
They were not able to resolve any issues that might have been holding the team back in the offseason due to Jerry Jones and his cap restrictions. They were instead forced to watch important players like Cedric Wilson Jr. and Randy Gregory, as well as Randy Gregory, La’el Collins, and Connor Williams, move on to new teams.
Skip, I hate to break it to your face, but it seems unlikely that this team will win a postseason match with a reduced roster in 2022.
