After a disappointing 2020 season, the Dallas Cowboys won the NFC East to make it to the playoffs in 2021. They will now aim for a Wild Card round matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Cowboys are optimistic about the outcome of this season but their prospects for next year are just as bright. The team’s new opponents were revealed Monday and the excitement for the 2022 campaign reached its peak.
Next year, the Cowboys will have an exciting slate with interesting matchups that go beyond their division. According Jon Machota of The Athletic, Dallas will face off against Chicago, Cincinnati and Tampa Bay next season. On the road, the Cowboys will play the Jaguars Packers Rams Titans and Vikings.
Dallas will host two matches against NFC rivals, Washington, Philadelphia, and New York Giants to make up the remainder of the schedule.

The Cowboys have a difficult schedule because of their status as NFC East champions. Dallas will face a variety of division champions who project to be in the mix in 2022.
Some of the most notable matchups are a trip to Lambeau field to face the Packers, a game in Nashville against Titans and another meeting with Tom Brady and his Buccaneers, and a home match against the young Bengals.
The Cowboys are awaiting an official announcement from NFL which will announce the kickoff dates and times later in the spring.
