On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys will lose one of their most powerful weapons. Tony Pollard , afoot injury, was reported as the reason Tony Pollard was out of Sunday’s matchup with the Washington Football Team.

Hardy will be in his first NFL action Sunday, according to Michael Gehlken from the Dallas Morning News.

Gehlken reported that Tony Pollard, Cowboys’ RB (foot), won’t be playing today at Washington. “Decision appears to have been made before FedEx Field’s pregame workout. First career NFL game for rookie JaQuan Hardy.
Hardy was one memorable story line from this year’s HBO’s ” Hard Knocks”. The running back, who was 23 years old, was released by Dallas at August’s end. He was however kept on the Cowboys practice team throughout the season.

Hardy should be considered as a third option to Ezekiel Elliott or Corey Clement. In his senior season, the Tiffin rookie ran for 1,554 yards with 15 touchdowns on just 204 carries.
