It’s been a difficult week for the officiating crew at tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup of the New York Giants with Dallas Cowboys.
Being an NFL ref is not easy. You’ll make mistakes from time to time. This crew seems to have missed some big ones.
They did not first call a blatant defensive hold in the end zone on Giants cornerback Darnay Sherlock, which forced the Cowboys into a field goal.
Officials flagged Sterling Shepard, a New York wide receiver, for an offensive interference call. This negated a long play by the Giants on their final possession.
The refs were called out via social media for both missed calls.
Can NY please call in and change this. Or wherever the hell the MotherShip is. What a joke these refs have been all game, missed calls and bad calls.

Just caught the replay of that penalty on Shepard. That is ridiculous. Horrible call.

MetLife’s officiating is not the only problem tonight. Overall, football’s quality has been poor.
