Odell Beckham Jr.’s long-running free-agency saga may soon gain momentum.
The wide receiver is currently recovering from an ACL tear sustained in the Super Bowl. He will soon be able to play for another championship contender. According to rumors, there is now a frontrunner after months of speculation.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter deemed the Dallas Cowboys to be the most likely landing place. They were identified as a “2-1 favorite” which is equivalent to a 33.33% implied probability.
Here’s what one executive on a team linked to Odell Beckham Jr. said this weekend about a potential landing spot for the free-agent WR: “It sounds like it will be Dallas. If you’re in Vegas, your 2-1 favorite is the Cowboys and everyone else is 5- or 6-1.”

Beckham may be interested in the Cowboys if he wants to make another postseason run.
Since Dak Prescott’s thumb injury, they are 4-1 with an additional 80 point differential. OBJ would be joining an already dangerous offense that includes Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott as well as Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb.
Already, Buffalo has a high-octane pass attack with Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen. The Giants, on the other hand are severely lacking in pass-catchers who can make an impact.
Beckham, who has not played since February 1, will need to be conditioned and become comfortable with a new offense. Beckham, 30, might find it easier to join an efficient offense that doesn’t require much of him.
