Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, is currently playing with an injury to his left wrist.
Mahomes’ first touchdown pass to Travis Kelce was his first. He was under pressure and he hit the throw. He fell on his non-throwing hand and was shaking his wrist. He came out of the drive with a lot tape on his wrist. On a play, he also handed the ball off awkwardly because he wanted to use his right hand rather than his left.
CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson reports Mahomes will receive an X-Ray at his wrist.

Mahomes’ throwing hand is not affected by the injury. He marched down the field for a third score drive, but it didn’t stop him. He also took a few hits during the drive.
It is worth keeping an eye on this as the Chiefs have a week of practice and then play the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2.
