The Dallas Cowboys are often called “America’s Team” and subject to nitpicking criticisms, even when they win.
Fans from all over the league were not impressed by the Cowboys’ victory last night 27-17 over the New Orleans Saints. On Thursday night, social media was flooded with questions about Dak Prescott’s consistency, Ezekiel Elliot’s struggles, and Kellen Moore’s offensive play calling.
Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd advised fans to use the breaks for these criticisms on Friday.
He asked, What are you complaining about? “When it comes to December football — injuries and backups, fatigue, a short week. They had five to six coaches missing on the road against a strong defense… and they won by 10.
“We get too focused on December football being appealing. It’s not. This is how it looks.”
"We get way too caught up on December football being attractive. It's not. This is what it looks like."

Although it wasn’t pretty, Dallas managed to score in every quarter. The Cowboys offense managed to gain 384 yards with a balanced passing (238 yards), and rushing (146 yard) attack. They were also restricted to five penalties and one turnover.
The Cowboys ended a losing streak of two games with last night’s victory and now have an 8-4 record.
Next week, Dallas will be back on the field against the Washington Football Team in a division matchup.
