After practice, Justin Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs made a 65-yard field kick. He was permitted to try an additional point on Saturday during the team’s preseason opener.
Reid marched onto field after Justin Watson and Shane Buechele had a 22-yard touchdown.
Reid did not waste this chance, and kicked it down the middle to give Chiefs a 14-0 lead.
Reid’s extra point attempt was very entertaining for the Chiefs’ broadcast crew.

Because Reid is able to play safety, the Chiefs signed Reid to an offseason contract for three years.
Reid had 66 combined tackles in 2021. He also had four passes defended and two interceptions.
Reid will not only play a key role in Chiefs defense this fall, but he could also be their emergency kicker in case Harrison Butker is hurt.
