The Cowboys’ defense was hot in their preseason game 2. Safety Israel Mukuamu, safety for the Cowboys, made waves in joint practices against Chargers. Now it’s reflected in their preseason game. Mukuamu receives the first interception in the preseason, a gift from Easton Stick, the Los Angeles quarterback.
Stick was under pressure by Sam Williams, a rookie defensive end. This led to an error that fell into Mukuamu’s hands. Mukuamu is entering his second season as a player in the NFL. They will be rotational pieces in Dan Quinn’s defensive team. This is a result of his two-years of experience in the warroom.
